Reunion Committee

We're
Listening

Read what the committee's thinking. Then tell them what you're thinking. Both directions, no forms-in-triplicate.

Committee note · September 2026

First: thank you. Three days in August, and you showed up for all of it. We planned a party; what we got back was a lot more than that.

Second: we're not done. Nobody on this committee wants to stop, and from what we're hearing, neither do you. So the site changed. It's not a reunion site anymore. It's a "what's next" site. Nothing's booked. The next hang is whatever you tell us you actually want.

Third: this page is yours. Tell us what worked, what didn't, what you'd do again, what you'd skip. Pitch the next hang. Name a bar. We read every single one.

what's locked, what's moving, what people keep saying
PINNED
Nothing's locked. The next hang isn't a date until it has a time, a place, and a meet spot on Next Up. Pitch one. We'll put it up when it's real.
Sept 2026
UPDATE
The site is now a hangout site. Reunion checkout, RSVP, and the hotel list are gone. Four pages: Home, Next Up, Connect, Feedback. If you bookmarked the old one, same address.
Sept 2026
HEARING
"Do it again." The single most common thing said to any committee member since August. Noted. Loudly.
Aug–Sept 2026
HEARING
"Keep it simple next time." A bar, a Sunday, a reason. Not every hang needs a three-day production. Heard. That's the brief.
Sept 2026
HEARING
"So-and-so wanted to come and couldn't." We heard a lot of names. Send them the site. Better yet, bring them when the next one locks.

Tell the committee

ideas, thanks, gripes, bar names. all welcome.

Opens your mail app with the message ready to go. Nothing gets stored on this site. It goes to owhs86reunion@gmail.com, which real committee members read.

Your mail app should've opened.

If it didn't (some phones and work laptops are stubborn), copy the message below and email it to owhs86reunion@gmail.com, or try the mail link again.

What happens to it

the honest version

It lands in the committee inbox. Somebody reads it, usually the same day. If it's an idea with legs, it shows up in the Facebook group for a temperature check. If it's a thank-you, it gets passed around. If it's a gripe, it gets talked about at the next meeting, for real.

Prefer to just talk?

also fine

Post in the Facebook group and tag a committee member. Or send a note on this page. We'll be the ones who actually write back.
